Michael Caine

September 3, 2008

I’m a big fan of Len Deighton and I love the 60s Harry Palmer films. Michael Caine was the ultimate in understated cool in the role and a great icon for the times. The Ipcress File is supposedly the best but I think Funeral in Berlin beats it hands down.

Your blog entry popped up on my Google alert for ‘Len Deighton’ – thought you might be interested in my new website, the Deighton Dossier – http://www.deightondossier.net – which is now up (although version 2.0, with more information will be up shortly.

Thanks Rob, good stuff. I was amazed a few years back when I tried to get some Deighton books and found that they were nearly all out of print.
